    • When the Dire Badger reaches zero hit points it does not fall unconscious until it has failed a Death Saving Throw or takes an additional amount of damage equal to it’s bloodied level. If a critical death save is made further Dire Badger attacks are at +2 to hit and damage for the duration of the encounter.

    • Description A badger the size of small bear. Spikes protrude from it’s shoulders and back. The ill temper of the dire badger is legendary.
    • Tactics The Dire badger generally avoids combat unless protecting it’s young or territory. When cornered it will fight viciously, striking single-mindedly against the first target within range until that target flees or is dead.
